I’m Amna — a designer and illustrator from Norway with a passion for creating meaningful visual experiences. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Høyskolen Kristiania and the University of West London, where I learned one of the most valuable lessons in creativity: never limit yourself.

From an early age, I’ve always been drawn to creative expression, and over time I’ve turned that curiosity into a craft. My year at Designinstituttet in Oslo gave me the chance to explore different design disciplines — an experience that continues to influence the way I think and create today.

I’m proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD, and Figma, and I also have a foundational understanding of HTML and CSS, which helps me bridge the gap between design and development.

Most recently, I completed a professional certification at the UX Design Institute, where I deepened my skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and multi-platform design. One highlight from my studies was designing a prototype for a mobile airline app — a project that took me through every step from user insights and needs analysis to interface design, testing, and developer collaboration. That experience taught me how to craft intuitive, user-centered solutions that truly work.

My professional journey includes working as a Graphic Designer at Big & Small Print in Horten, where I gained hands-on experience in the world of print. I created marketing materials ranging from brochures and posters to signage and packaging — and learned the tangible side of design along the way.

I’ve also worked with Skeidar’s e-commerce platform, where I was responsible for optimizing the online shopping experience through improved product presentation, campaign planning, and sales copy. I even had the opportunity to train our content creation team in Dubai — an experience that strengthened my leadership and communication skills.

At my core, I’m a designer who values curiosity, storytelling, and thoughtful design solutions that connect with people. Whether I’m working on a digital interface or a printed piece, my goal is always the same: to make design both beautiful and purposeful.
